Here are a few of the questions I have been asked most often. If there is anything else you woudd like to know, please get in touch — I am always happy to chat.
1. What is your photography style?
My style is a natural mix of candid, documentary and creative photography. I focus on real moments and genuine emotion, while also creating timeless portraits that tell the story of your day in an honest, relaxed way.
2. How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you’ve secured your wedding date is ideal, especially for popular months. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, so dates can book up quickly.
3. Do you offer couple photo sessions?
Yes — and I highly recommend them. A pre-wedding meeting and photo session is a lovely way for us to get to know each other and help you feel relaxed in front of the camera. This is included in your wedding photography.
4. What’s included in your wedding photography?
Every wedding is different, so our photography is tailor-made rather than package-based. Coverage usually includes full-day photography, carefully edited high-resolution images, and a private online gallery for viewing and sharing. I will create something that suits you and your plans perfectly.
5. How many hours of coverage do we need?
That depends on your timeline and what you would like captured. Most couples choose around 8–10 hours to cover everything from getting ready through to the evening celebrations, but shorter or longer coverage can easily be arranged.
6. Do you travel for weddings?
Yes — I photograph weddings across the South West. Travel costs may apply depending on location, and I am always be upfront about this.
7. When will we receive our photos?
Your full gallery will be ready within around 4–6 weeks. I will also send you a small sneak peek within a week so you can relive a few highlights straight away.
8. How many photos will we receive?
This varies depending on coverage and the flow of the day, but most couples receive between 200–400 carefully selected images.
9. Do you offer albums and prints?
Yes — I can help you create beautiful wedding albums and high-quality prints if you would like.
10. Do you edit all of the photos?
Absolutely. Every image you receive is individually edited with care and attention.
11. What happens if you’re unwell or there’s an emergency?
In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will work quickly to find a trusted professional photographer that you are happy with. I will do everything possible to ensure your day is covered just as you would expect.
12. Do you offer videography?
I do not offer videography as such myself, but I am very happy to work alongside videographers and can help recommend someone if you would like. I can also take small snips of video myself during the day if that something you think you would like.
13. How do we secure our wedding date?
To officially reserve your date you will need to pay a 25% deposit. The remaining balance is due one month before the wedding.
